They all look good...nice ride by the way. If made to choose I'd have to say topless, show it off!

If you can go topless.....flaunt it!!!!!

I say hardtop. IMO it looks faster and more sporty.

looks vs. ride

I think it looks better with the hard top on, but it is more fun to ride in with no top on!

My $0.02

have me drive it past u in all 3 configurations, at speeds varying from 20 to 150 mph, in 10 mph increments...repeat as req'd till u decide..i'm free tomorow

My car is identical to yours right down to the color, only a 1990. Here in Arizona, top down is first choice, top up is second choice (can go down very quickly).

Last choice is hardtop on. Granted it looks really good but, with the convertible top down and the hard top on, there is no room behind the drivers seat.

We used the rag top on a trip to Oregon knowing we might hit bad weather, just to have some room for luggage.

Why have a vert if you're going to ride around with the hardtop on?
That's what coupes are for.

The hardtop looks great. The vert is the reason for the Vette. I've had my hardtop on a handful of times in the last 33 seasons. It's a pain in the a*$ to store, install and remove. Once it's away, that's where I like to keep it. The look of the hardtop is fabulous, but if the car is garaged kept and covered- WHY BOTHER?

Don't ask me why, but in my opinion it looks better with either top on.

I like the hard top, in fact I would only drive the Vette with the top down and only use the soft top in case of wet emergency and use the Hard top when it’s raining out or in late fall early spring.

if I ever got or owned a convertible C4 i'de leave the hard top on all the time. Kind of gives it a different look...something like a fixed roof coupe c4 style!

I love the wind in my hair.
However, for agressive driving and high speed runs the hard top can't be beat. The hardtop noticable improves handling, won't rip at 160, and looks GREAT.

So my vote is hard top it just looks cool.

Now my favorite way to drive it is no top; when snow season finally leaves.

I also have one like yours only a 90, I leave the hardtop off untill it gets toward fall and I then put hard top on for a short time only. The hardtop sure makes a differance in the ride and feel of the car and looks great also. Love the color it's the same as mine only I don't have the luggage rack and have thought of getting one.:w

I loved the hardtop on my triple-black 90, I should never have sold that car. Boy did I ever get some admiring glances in that car.
