I went into the basement and he was painting the Control arms for his Firebird! Grrrrrrr. So I asked innocently, "are those for the vette?" to which he replied, "No, the firebird."

I being the wonderful wife I am (HAHA) didn't instigate further. Well thats not true I might have said something about looking forward to starting the car up this weekend - this is especially funny since the motor and tranny aren't in it. :L

He has made more progress and put the new drive and driven gears in the new tranny, I cleaned some more parts and he painted them. I must say he really has some cool techniques for painting parts, most of which only we will see. The way he painted the tranny housing was really cool.

I have to order a new power steering pump unless I get one for my b'day and I will be glad when the parts list for the engine compartment shrinks so I can buy some interior parts I must say for all the parts I *do* recognize, there are about a 100 that I *don't* recognize.

I like his honesty... A LOT! sounds like you got a keeper there Talent around cars, probably good looking, and HONEST
