I currently own a 2002 C5. Last week my security light came on and stayed on. The car started with no issues but I wanted find out why the light was on. I did some research and was told to try my other key (passkey II resistive chip). Since I didn't have a spare key, I went to the dealership to purchase a new key. They did the resistive test and cut me a new key. I used the new key to start the vehicle and it started with no problem but the Security light stayed on. I did a diagnostic and it showed the Code B 2723 pass key detection circuit. Yes... I cleared the code! Now the car won't start. I checked fuses/did a relearn/made sure the battery was charged/starter was good/I prayed and nothing will crank the motor... I need help!
