I plan on putting the 81' on the Dyno next weekend. I'll let you know what happens. Has anyone else heard this?......I read in this month's Hemmings Muscle Machines(pg.45) that a rumor is in the air. GM may be bringing back history in 2006. The Z06 will be an all aluminum 427 7.0L, 500hp, 6800 rpm, over 500-ft.lbs. of torque, 3 valve heads, DoD and variable-cam phasing, will meet all 2006 emissions, and get this.....get over 28mpg. Is this a dream? If not, mark me down for a yellow one.
