I got her on the Dyno last week

Well I finally got the 81' on the Dyno. She had a huge drop off on power at about 400hp. The power curve was strait up then it seemed the valves just did not want to open anymore. I think my problem is weak valve springs. This week D.U.M. Inc. (my friends in the Capitol City Corvette Club) and myself are going to pull these heads off. Our plan is to drill these babies out and put in new double springs and port & polish em out. I should glide right up to about 525-550 ponies. After that I am replacing both main seals in the tranny. On another note, we had a good number of Vettes in a parade over X-Mas. At the end we had a little burn out contest. You guys would have been proud, hehehe. After the smoke cleared there could be only one champion. My only problem was that the parking lot was coming to an end. ;-)
