Hi folks -

While I was in Denver this week on business, Patrick was kind enought to not only send me several great choices of places to eat, but he also met me at the Cool River Cafe (awesome place...) and have a few drinks and eat dinner with me!

Thanks for a great evening of watching the Pistons/Heat game and eating good food.

Your car sounds very sweet - love borlas on a Z.....

I talked with the wife - she cannot make Bowling Green, but I think I will drive down alone for at least a couple of days. I'll post the final verdict when I get back home - I am in a hotel lobby using the guest internet access at this time.

I just wanted to post a thanks to Patrick for going out of his way to meet up with me while I was in his area. :upthumbs

best regards -

I think Patrick likes to refer to those as aperitifs. ;LOL

You'd better watch out for Patrick. He's just sizing you up for his Internet voodoo doll collection. :D

If you soon feel like you're spinning in a blender or a stuffed in a place the sun doesn't shine then you'll know what I mean! :W

Wow, Andy! Thanks! I enjoyed getting to meet you, too!

Cool River Cafe is one of my favorite local haunts, and I was pleased to introduce it to you. And yes, the food is not bad at all. ;)

It was also my pleasure to encourage the Borlas to do a little song for you. Hey, I hope the rest of your trip out here to Denver was as much fun as last night!

Now, please ignore the dizzy Oklahoman. He and a certain parrot owner are the only ones with likenesses in my voodoo likeness collection. He's also not yet mentally processed the fact that Carrie Whats-her-name has done OK proud by winning the American Idol fraud.

(All this talk about beverages... Sheesh, I make one tiny little mispelling, and I hear about it for a freakin' eternity. :eyerole)

I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing Patrick's Z at Cruisefest.

Andy, I hope you can make it. I would have to check, but I think yours might be the only EB Z06.

Hi Tammy -

I will drive down Friday - I have asked a friend to join me since my wife cannot make it - he has a 98 coupe with a 384 stoker from DTE.

I will surf the registration site and see what I have to do - I will also have to let Roscoe know what I am up to, but if the CF cruise ins are any indication, he will likely be able to accomodate two extra plate-fillers if we pay at the premisis. If not, we'll just watch and drool and drink.....

I have been down there three times - and I look forward to meeting up with the CAC ( crowd.

best regards -

Andy,

Just show up at the registration desk on Friday and we'll take care of you. If you need a t-shirt, however, send me your money now and I'll reserve one for you, because I think by Friday they'll be all gone.

Tammy

He said ok to driving down Friday morning. I'll check with the Baymont tonight. :upthumbs

Hey! Who are you callin' dizzy? :crazy :crazy :crazy

Such distinguished company you include me in! :puke You're a scholar and a gentleman!

Her name is Underwood. Are you telling me you bought into that hokey AI fraud conspiracy too? I'm SOooo disappointed. :cry And such an educated fellow you are too...:(

BTW - City planners and Masters candidates should know how to spell!!! Especially when they are bloviating with platitudinous ponderosity!!! No excuses!!! ;LOL

Kopbet,
Don't you have a tornado nearby you can go kiss? As a City Planner, I can tell you that my collegues in Oklahoma regard twisters as a useful redevelopment tool. :D

And for the record, the only evidence I have of a fraud on AI are the comments of folks in the thread you started on the subject, since I don't watch AI myself.

Andy,
Can't wait to meet up with you again at Cruisefest. I'm glad you took my suggestion to move with some alacrity on getting your registration started, since time is a-tickin' away on us. I didn't want you to get shut out.
