So today being a nice day in Western PA, I went for cruise. I came to a stop light and some folks were walking up the street. As I came by them and stopped for the light. I heard, "Look at that ride. Corvette. Wow."
I could not help but grin from ear to ear. This car gets SO much attention. I love it. I blipped the throttle (she makes some noise for sure) as I took off from the light just for grins and giggles.

Stopped and showed my pastor the other, day and he was just stunned by how nice it is. I told him nicer ones exist, but its pretty clean.

The Camera does no justice. I still think if it where lower and tinted it would look way cooler. I'm afraid to lower on my back country roads however.

Very nice story...did the same with mine today too. Top off, cruising slow in some back roads to take my time.
I'm with you on the lowering...how can people drive on the mess that's today's streets? I have train tracks, speed bumps and lots of pot holes in my area, no way I'd drive it lowered on that.:L

Sat. was a great day to be "Vettin." We had a charity cruise-in in the morning and city wide cruise-in in the afternoon and evening in Pilot Mountain, NC.

Getting great comments about my Vette is the second best thing about owning it.

Well I am jealous. I never get any attention, but then again I live in Florida...

It seems like most of the looks I get, if any, are looks of disgust for driving a sports car instead of a Prius.

F'em, what do they know? We're talking about a sh?tbox that is "totaled" when the battery wears out (about 6 to 8k for a new battery) and has had problems with the throttle or the brakes... Besides, driven with restraint on the highway, the C4 Corvette can get 30mpgs!!
