I have a huge problem with my new Shark!

Did not expect this

Hey guys, I was not prepared for this. I have and have had some very nice cars in my life, but this is different. Since getting my '74 coupe last month I look in the garage and think "Man I got me a vette" I keep a cover on it even in the garage because the cats like to visit and the outline of it still excites me. I pulled up next to a c5 on the interstate the other day that was the exact copy of my shark only 27 years newer. You could see the admiration in that mans' grin. Can't wait til tomorrow cause it keeps gettin better every day.:cool

Just looking at the sunlight dancing and flickering across the sexy curves of my 69 makes my heart start to beat faster. Touching the slick glassy paint surface gets me fired up. Dropping the top gets my heart pounding in my throat. Getting behind the wheel and strapping into the race harness style seat belts brings on the sly evil kind of grin that you usually only see on movie stars in action adventure flicks just before they do something crazy. Oh, and yes, the climax builds to a frenzy when I depress the clutch pedal, and twist the ignition key forward. Suddenly there is a rush of sounds and sensations as the forged piston slugs start to pump in the cylinders, and the fuel starts burning into a cloud of mezmorizing vapor out the massive sidepipes.

By now, the smile has attacked my facial features and could not be removed with a pick and shovel!

Snapping the Hurst shifter into gear, releasing the clutch and unleashing the beast on the unsuspecting public is more than most mere mortal men could handle.

It is about this time Nikki slaps me in the side of the head and says something like "Did you hear a word I was saying? We have to clean the kitchen when we get back from the store and take the trash out tonight"

Nikki, Nikki, Nikki. Can`t you see this man is busy right now. By the time I finished reading 69MyWay post I was ready to go burn some rubber.

69MyWay : Good Lord Man!
Just let your wife read that wicked, indecent first paragraph, she'll forget all about the dishes and the trash...

Boy! After reading 69MyWay's post I just can't do It!!!!! Use the weekend to put away my vette for the winter!!!!!!!!!!:cry I just cant do it!!!!:hb I GOTTA DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:bu Let's pray the weather will cooperate one more weekend!

Who needs the weather to cooperate? It was 55 yesterday, and I was driving with the windows down. :) I don't think I would have minded if it was 40. Below that, I might have to seriously consider putting the windows up, but I would be reluctant...

I couldn"t drive this weekend. The weather was wet and snowy and those are conditions my vette will not go out in. However, I did not put her away for the winter. I'm holding out for one more sunny dry day!:cool

I know how ya feel, was waxing my c3 in the drive and four neighbors all of a sudden had the urge to get the mail, mailbox in front of my house. Good excuse to look at my vette. Dammmm they were all males!!

I hear ya guys

I washed my vette today and finished just as the sun was setting. The hunter green turned to black. As I was walking from the front of the car to the back my hand was running along those oh so smooth curves. As I reached the door my fiance asked me

"what are you doing?"

..."aaaaahhhhhh nothing!":L
