I took the car into a custom muffler shop yesterday to have the exhaust done. I was pleasnatly surprised to find that the previous owner had already installed an after market Y pipe without the pre cats. However, he had also installed muffler elims which is why I thought the exhaust system was shot. They were so loud, I was getting headaches.
So I had the shop replace everyhting from the Y pipe back. They put on a high flow Magnaflow cat, Flow-Pro mufflers, Magnaflow stainless tips and custom bent all the pipe. It turned out awesome and it sounds even better!
