...two Callaway cars have been spotted on the power tour this week.

My good buddy is doing the "long haul" in his 87 Grand Natl. and said in and amongst all the amazing cars, he spotted a black / red Aero B2K out of Florida and a lady driving a C8 :cool

He has not seen the B2K in awhile, as they have made it to VA en route to E-Town for Friday - the C8 is still there...

He will hopefully bring by some pics as he heads for hom on Sat, as I know we cannot get enough pics - esp. of the C8's, right???? :cool

:D
:WYou got my attention. If he doesn't mind, can you ask him to shoot some huge pics (2272 x 1704 pixels if possible!) of the C8? That way he could email them and I could have some 8" x 10"s of the car to hang up on my walls :_rock

speedbbb@aol.com if you don't mind!

Is Brad the good buddy you are referring to? He and I have been talking to each other through email for the past few days. He's the owner of the prototype C8 that was featured in Motortrend among other magazines.

No guys, not brad - My friends name is Steve - he is in an 87 GN w/ VA plates - if you are heading to E-Town for the Long Haul awards, say hello -

I hope to post pics tomorrow if I can - ...stay tuned

Oh. Well bring on the pics! :)

If you end up resizing them, please send me the originals in email!

That's fine. :)

I have a Sunday project to work on anyway. I'm going to post it in a new topic here in a few hours, should be cool. :D

A friend of mine went on the Power Tour and just told me that the C8 was a red convertible. He didn't take any pics though.

I'm excited to see it! :crazy

I went through several dozen galleries posted on websites and messageboards a few days ago and I never saw the C8. By its description, it is the one owned by the member "CallawayC8" on this message board. Maybe he was driving so fast he broke the sound barrier causing everone to drop their cameras?
:lou

It's funny, I've been posting a LOT about C8s in the last few months, but the only C8 owner who's actively posting here is Tony. I wonder why CallawayC8, HuggerC8, and John are MIA?

Errr... I didn't eat all my words though. This is from the Power Tour in '05.

...the owner of that silver C8 came to the Callaway Reunion in 2002 at Corvettes at Carlisle - we had 32 Callaway Corvettes there that year :cool
Unfortunately, the C8 could not join our row of Vettes however, the understanding owner did join us all at dinner , etc.

Gee, maybe I need to start a Callaway C8 website.

You know something interesting? This website along with callawayownersgroup.com have never once come up in any of my C8 searches. Perhaps if they had their metatags (or whatever makes websites come up in search engines) edited, we would get a little more C8 traffic here. I think the reason I found this website originally is because I looked up Callaway SuperNatural on google and something came up here or callawayownersgroup.com
