But I'm so very pleased that I have another year to drive my Corvette. It's been smogged and registered for another year with the wonderful state of California.

Now I won't have to worry if I'm going to make the next cruise events at Ricky & Ronnie's for awhile; I can cruise in peace. :cool

Well, sorta... I can cruise in peace that is, if my ears don't bleed first. Did I mention it's LOUD?:L

Arnold says Thank You...and Your Welcome. :D

With all your mods, did you have to remove or add anything to pass the test? Retune, etc...

Brian, you heard of the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy, right? ;)

Ya-------------HOO!

Cool! :_rock

I know what a bugger it is to have it hanging. Metoo has a year until SMOGtime. I skated on the last by mailing my check before penalty, planning to do the sniff later. The car was torn apart :upthumbs and they mailed me the sticker before I did it.:beer I just got the subsequent renewal w/o any issues.
Working on the noise issue as we speak.

Glad that policy works someplace!

Did you sign my Guest Book? ;)

Thanks for signing it Brian. :w

Ken, you just have one bad A$$ ride period. From the engine to the paint to the wheels, man, awsome!

Dang! Ya mean that's all I had to do was ask people to sign my book? I've had more signings in the past few minutes than I have had at any one time since I started the book, and I have four of 'em; there's a book on each of the Cruise At The Beach pages, and there's also one on the Ricky & Ronnie's page.

Thanks guys! :upthumbs

I guess so, you should have mentioned it sooner, I bet everyone on here has been on your site more then once, what sort of ignition are you using? Are those some sort of coil packs?

Yes, they are the coil packs for the Electromotive TEC3 engine management system that I utilize. From my limited experience, the TEC3 is head and shoulders above most of the rest of the aftermarket stuff out there. :upthumbs

it looks like a clean set up, Im still dealing with the optispark blues, am getting ready to instal the dynaspark Thursday though, today it was almost 70 and the cars dead in the water still, tomorrow is suppose to be back to rainy and cold of course

I know what you mean Ken. I always breath a sigh of relief after passing the smog test here in MD. I'm glad ours is every 2 years. Guy

Why Guy, you're cool? No aftermarket stuff to worry about, and they just read the OBDII.

Hope you are enjoying the Bike. Winter is almost up, maybe I'll see you around soon. I see March 20 is the Bel Air show, I am looking forward to it.

Hey Andy, I still worry. I failed w/ other cars in the past and it is a pita. I had a pick-up that i never could get to pass and had to get a waiver. Just a major pain. I don't even have tags on the bike yet, The MVA is making life miserable for me but that is another post. Should be straightened out soon and I will be riding. I won't be able to make the Bel Air show due to work, that sucks. Are you entering? Good luck, Guy

Ken, where in So Cal this car show takes place? I live 45 minutes N of San Diego

Ruby's "Cruise At The Beach" starts again with the beginning of daylight savings time, April 15, and continue every Friday evening throughout the summer. Ruby's diner is located in King Harbor area of Redondo Beach.

Ricky & Ronnie's official cruise nights so far, are Tuesday, Thursday (bike night), Friday, and Saturday nights, beginning around five o'clock or so. I expect the crowd at R&R's to get bigger as word gets around; we should have a great summer cruising and hanging-out. :cool

Ricky & Ronnie's is located on Sepulveda Blvd. at Normandie Ave., 1/2 mile west of the Harbor Freeway, in Torrance.
