Vig,

I think you have found your hot rod. It has a lot of possibilities and you won't be cutting up a restorable car to build it. The frame sounds scary though. Might be a canidate for one of those custom chassis that take C4 or C5 suspensions.

The steering wheel is decent and the M/T valve covers pretty much date the car as a late 70s to early 80s build. You could pop out those headlights and use those big pods for air intakes for that monster engine you will be installing.
