I just put in a new radiator and I am also replacing all the heater hoses. I took all the heater hoses lose before getting new hoses, (MISTAKE). My question is:
On the surge tank (tank with radiator cap)there are two hoses on the bottom side of tank. I think the bottem hose goes to the heater core and the top hose goed to the water pump, but I'am not sure. Could someone with a 95 model look at thiers and let me know?

From a 90, not sure of the difference.

On the surge tank, the top hose from tank goes to the top hose for the heater core, the bottom hose from the surge tank goes to the water pump.

Is the 90 model a LT1 engine? I do not know if it makes a difference, but I think when they started the LT1 it has some type of reverse flow cooling system. Because looking at my old hoses it looks like mine should hook up differant than yours.

Thanks, Goose

LT1 didn't debut until 1992, this one is an L98. You are probably right about the coolant flow being different.

So anyone with a 1992-1996 LT1 should be the same as yours. Sorry, I should have thought about that.

Good luck.

Thanks for the help. I have them wrong, but will change it around tomorrow.
