I need to buy a timing light, any recomendations

VNV,
I saw that light on summit web site, the problem I have is if I buy things w/too many bells and whistles,I can't figure out how to use them.

I did that w/ a car sterio once for the boat and I'm still regretting it.Too complicated..

It sure looks nice though but prob. will get the sears model.

Thanks you your advice.. Jim

I have the Snap On MT2261 and I use it once a month in the driving season

Best timing light I found and I've had it for a while.

Heh Don.... It's hard to beat the Quality of a "Snap On" Product..Worth every penny..!! Like Stepinwolf says.. "Cheap tools can cost you more in the long run"..... At least that's how I think he says it..:L

Mark -- nice timing light -- good luck with it

Well...I"ll have to wait to use it after Kid_Again brings it back... I'm sure when it arrives Kid will be over to borrow it to time his Heater Blower Motor or Roller Rocker Arms or something ...Before I even get to use it...:D

Your also welcome to try it out if you need to...:beer

I told ya Jim. Biggest problem with having one is getting to use it cause your friends have got it. VNV just proves it!!

Geek, Ha Ha,ya your rite, but none of my friends have classic cars that thier rebuilding or maintaining.
And the closest guy from CAC is Smitty aka vettesmith and he allready invitfd me over once the damn snow is gone..
I'll have check out that snap on model..

Here's the $75.00 Actron CP-7519 dial-back light; calibrates exactly to the Snap-On light (neighbor has one of those).
