Hello Everyone:
Need your help with the following. I am 6'8" and I am planning on getting a 2007/2008 Z06. With the stock seat all the way down and back I need about 2 inches of head room to make it work. Surprisingly, the leg room is great so I don't need to cut my legs off!
I need to go with an aftermarket seat bolted straight to the floor to give me the necessary head room. I can easily remove the seat and plug the stock seat back in when someone else needs to drive. (Obviously I will have to go with the 1LZ package that does not have the air bags in the seat to avoid screwing up the airbag system if I remove the stock seat.)
What aftermarket seats will fit in the confines of the C6-Z06? I have sat in the "Imola S GT" which is made by Cobra, www.cobraseats.com
and I fit well in this seat. One dealer has told me this will fit and another says no way. I don't want to commit to buying the car until I have this figured out.
What are your suggestions and do you have any pics of aftermarket seats installed in the Z06?
