Looks like alot of fun ZO6nut! How are your neighbors? Hopefully they came out and got a good look! I would!

It was lots of fun. These guys in Houston will find any reason to get together.

The guy that brought his Z16 lowered it and had a nice sound system put in. Mine is completely stock right now. With only about 650 made so far I'm leary of making any major mods.

Got a question for you on your Z16.

how much darker is the Blue paint on the Z16 compaired to a electron blue car??

I want to pick up a Z16 if I can and as I had a EB 02 I was just wondering how close they are.

Cool thanks man!

Thats one sweet car but I think Im going to have to get a used one if I ever do.

I have to get rid of one of my ZR1's and with production comming to a end soon I think the Z-16's will be numbered under the 1,000 mark!

fyi the Feb. numbers are 780 Z16's they may just break the 1K mark.
Sweet thanks for the picture!

They just might break the 1 K mark I think projections were in the 2,000 mark but I really dont think thats going to happen.

Makes me want one even more!

:crazy Holy Exhaust Note, Batman! That is just too cool!

Gives new meaning to the term, "There goes the neighborhood".

Wow, all those horses corralled in one cul-de-sac. It boggles the mind!

the thing I want to know is why a few nice sets of skid marks weren't laid down to add some accent to the ground in the picture. And how long did it take to arrange all those vettes up so nicely??

It was very tempting but a little girl was resently killed by a car backing up. Everyone here get a little upset when kids speed through the neighborhood.

I spent some time in the last couple of weeks looking for Z06/Z16 and that had me researching production numbers. As of the middle of last week, they'd built about 780 cars.

There have been some problems with the CF hood and that is probably affecting the build rate.

My guess is they'll build more than 1000 but less than the 2000 originally forcast. A fun pool would be to guess how many Z16s will GM do by build-out.

Very few sources for new ones are discounting. With one exception, all the new ones I looked at going to require MSRP to buy.

Yeah I have been looking for a Z16 myself in and around the carolinas theres no less that 12 of them at delaers!, I just talked sort of local dealer today about a used EB 2003 Z06 they have for sale and the guy told me they want 42.9K for it and it has 13,000 miles on it I cant believe that! they said they would take 37.5K for it and the price is not negotiable??
Then he tells me they just got in a Z16 in and the sales manager said he would drop 1K off the price. after I told him what I am seeing on the net.

I know its a limited edition car but come on I thought they wanted to move them and when they are discounting the other 04's at 10K or more why pay MSRP???

and that's what gets me about the used market right now its insane to buy a used C-5 when you can get a brand new one with better financing for the same or less than what alot of people want for there cars.
Im sure there will be a few Z16's left on the lot after the C-6 hits the floor then you will see some discounts.

here is a 'benchmark' on a used Z16

I think I bought the first 'used' Z16 to hit the market. Two months ago out of FL through TheVetteNet at 52k with 1.4k miles.

Tony, man your pics are showing up everywhere, waiting to see the whole mod party on Speed Channel soon. ;worship you da man
