Getting ready to POR-15 my rear suspension components and frame. I've only owned my vette for a year, and have often wondered if the 42020 miles on it are real miles or not. I now have a second source of evidence that says they are! (the first being correct and unmolested rotors and spindles) As I was wire brushing along the suspension I came to the rear diff. There was so much crud on parts of it, that I grabbed a flat screwdriver to pry it off. That's when I realized there is no way there could be this much crud on the diff fill bolt if it has been changed anytime in the last two decades! :Twist I realize this is both good and bad, but changing the fluid is also on my list for this winter.

Anyhow, I now have a gumout and crud pile under the rear end of the car. It's quite the mess.
