idle air control

idle air control - Tnx...on right track!

How can I get a wiring diagram for the idle air control, heat melted the connection and a mechanic wired in a new one to the harness. He must have wired it backwards since it's not working at all. If you can assist me it will certainly be appreciated. Its causing a fast idle (1100 RPM) constantly.

do you already know the proper procedure for setting the idle now that the IAC has been disrupted?

if so that will save me a bunch of typing....if not, let us know so we canhelp you out.

I just realized this is a 93 model. For some reason I thought it was an 85. The base idle set is different for these models.

Could somebody please post the base idle/IAC set for a 93?
