Car won't hold idle and dies at starting and takes hitting the gas and finally it will even out. A new idle air control valve has been installed and it still does'nt work. My mechanic installed a new EMC to see if that was the problem, it was not. NO codes come up when he tests the idle. Everytime he sets the idle and then starts the car again another setting number shows up each time he does it. Has anybody experienced this problem and solved it or have any ideas what's causing this problem? The next thing he is going to try is testing the wirlng from the EMC to the idle air control valve. :Twist
