...with manual transmission, where did you take off the oil pressure line on the engine to run to the gauge?

Subfixer,Subfixer said:67, will a reducer with a 90* fitting fit behind the bracket? If so, your oil pressure line could then go straight up from the fitting behind the bracket. Or, you could drill a hole through the bracket and have the oil pressure line run through it.
I'm liking this already.Subfixer said:67, here's another thought... drill a hole in the adaptor large enough to pass a short piece of pipe into the hole above the oil filter, then put your fittings on the pipe. I've asked another member on the other forum how he did his. He's got a 502 in his otherwise stock 66 vert. I'll let you know what I find out.
I too wondered about that location...Subfixer said:67, here's what I got so far...
Running a 454 with a similar set up and, if I recall correctly, I used the oil pressure port off the top of the back of the block (similar to the small block location)...
I looked at the pics of the block on your website, looks like there is a location coming off the left lifter gallery at the back of your block, just left of center behind the intake.
Gee, you're good Subfixer. Using my own photos on me.Subfixer said:If you look at this picture, you can see just above the flywheel, the raised casting that indicates that there is a feed from the left lifter gallery to the red plug you indicated in your pic above.

I should have remembered that you were using this adapter. Since we built a hydraulic clutch setup we didn't run into that problem. But, as Subfixer mentioned, you can also use the hole on the back of the block which is where many engines get their oil pressure feed.67HEAVEN said:Rich I was hoping you would answer.

As you know, this clutch rod bracket gets in the way of the oil pressure line.
