The ignition switch in my 77 Vette will not turn back to accessory. I am under the impression that all 77 Corvettes came with an accessory position. Any way to fix this with out replacing the switch??

Not sure if it's the same or not, but on my 81 you have to push the key in before turning it back.

I tried this, but it didn't go. Either this switch doesn't have that option, or something is wrong with the switch. I don't know about your 81, but 77 has a lever.

Ok I believe we do have the same setup.
Sounds like the switch could need adjusting.

I tried Jim Shea site, but I couldn't find out how to adjust the switch. Maybe it's there, but I couldn't find it.

Yes, this PDF has instructions on adjusting the switch, and it confirms that the switch is capable of accessory. Stands to reason, cause this car has been completely gone over. I am going to have to decide whether I should attempt this, or have it done. Thank you by the way..
