Thanks for the welcome. That 1 mile race sure looks like a fun event. Is there anyone going from here? At least a callaway can run it this! Might have to drag Ultra Slow there, but there is no way in hell that its going to hit 200 in a mile. 180 is probably tough too. I would like to see some cars that could hit 200 myself.... that is without the use of a ton of NOS. Glad to see that the sport had taken an interest in this type of racing and is offering hope in getting away from that 1320 ft limitation, all traction WWF crowd race. I hope this turns into a real event as I can just imagine the speed possiblities with some 1 mile specific designed cars! Dont think the "rails" are gong to do it on this... Step asside Big Daddy and hello Chuck Yeager as the sound barrier could get broken in a 1 mile race if a vehicle was designed right!

Ultra - I would love to hear how your car (or any Callaway) does in that event - how fast do you think it could get up to in the mile - Looks like a "rolling start" w/ a run in area... :cool
