I've looked all over the web and can find many other schematics. But cant seem to come up with these 1992 and 1993 only from what i can tell. Just curious about optispark signals, it looks like they are sent to a comparator circuit. Also Most ECM’s are coated to protect them from moisture. What is the best way to remove the coating without damaging the PCB?

The only thing you can probably do is reflow as many solder joints as you can. I haven't seen any schematics for this.....Since you can get a rebuilt ECM for around $100, I wouldn't spend a lot of time troubleshooting, unless you're just doing it for fun (and believe me, I've been there) I have fixed several ECM's by just reflowing questionable solder joints. Good luck...I'm and electronics tech by trade and enjoy trying to fix this stuff. Unfortunately, component level troubleshooting is going by the way side.

You're not going to find internal schematics of the ECM anywhere.

What kind of problem are you having?

How do i remove the epoxy coating ? I was thinking about reflowing the solder joints too.

Methyl Ethyl Ketone (known as MEK in a paint supply shop) will do it. Also a product known as Varsol, or , as a last resort paint thinner. Use a plastic brush and be very gentle, otherwise you will destroy the substrate which will then render the board useless.

Just be careful and wear gloves because that stuff will get absorbed through your skin. The fumes will also get you high if you're not careful.
