Has anyone seen/ installed the Holley aluminum version of the LS-1 intake manifold? I am trying to locate a good deal on one and would appreciate any input from users or buyers/ sellers--will it give you the expected gain in HP as the LS-6 intake manifold??? Thanks Steve:J

I personally think the aluminum is a bad choice because they tend to hold the heat. F.A.S.T is coming out with a new one shortly that will likely provide the most advanced intake for the LS-1/LS-6 we have seen to date. I am waiting to see some dyno results on that one;)

Holley ls1 intake

I have seen the Holley ls1 intake at the Autorama show here in Detroit. Looks pretty, but seems heavy. I wasn't able to compare side by side, but the aluminum seemed heavier than the stock.

I spoke with Lingenfelter Performance and they agreed that the LS-6 replacement manifold gives a bit more HP and weighs less as it is composite construction.I think the heat retention is also a great point so I will also wait for the FAST product to see.. Thanks all Steve
