Installation of a Removable Rear Window?

I realize that '72 was the last year for this and I am contemplating doing it to my '73 so I have a couple of questions for anyone that has done it:

What is required?

Is this a permanent change? (can it be reversed)

Advantages/Disadvantages?

It will take an afternoon to install the removable window. There are a couple of posts in this forum about this topic. Over at the Corvette Forum there are several with at least one showing the parts needed. Cost for the parts will be $150 - $250. Parts can be gotten off of ebay, used parts dealers, or Corvette show like Carlisle.
edit: It can be reversed easily.
I believe the change is a great improvement. I have done it to both of the 73's I have owned. The only negative is it creates another water leak point.
