I just purchased a 1964 and it was in pieces, boxes of this part, etc. Problem I am having is installing head light motors, do these need to be installed back on pivot arms on the head light buckets or can they be aligned after bolting on the buckets, I have the buckets installed but the motors will not side back on. I hope this makes sense

Thanks

The motors slip onto the shafts after the buckets are installed. You may need to rotate the motors to get them on. I would turn the motor enough that it goes on with the bucket not being against the stop so you have some wiggle room (if that makes sense).

I would suggest purchasing a assembely manual for the car. It shows detailed photos of the parts need to build a corvette.

Also alot of the distributors of vette parts have some nice detailed photos showing a break down of the parts or even how they should look.I have restored alot of cars (only one vette) and just found the asembly manual to be a great source of information.

Good luck with your project and remember its supposed to be FUN
