I have a 1977 vette that im building up its in mostly stock form, and ive been asking a bunch of questions. I am lookin around to upgrade performance and is it hard to put in a new camshaft? I mean would i have to pull the motor or just the front end? Is there anyway just to remove the radiator and have room to take it out? Any help is very much appreciated THANKS!

Can be done in the car. Besides the front end of the engine, the intake will need to come off to get to the lifters. Also the radiator will need to come out to allow clearance to pull/install the cam.

Don't go crazy on the duration for the cam shaft. If the motor does not have the compression ratio to handle the high lift cam, it will sound great and you will get 3 mpg. No extra power untill your pass 70mph.
I put a 265 Comp cam in, with 6:1 rocker arms. Works great. It has enough lift for a little more power, but the vacumm stayed high enough for the brakes and head light door to work.
