Is there a certan way it goes in? Obviously it can only go one way direction wise, but how about rotationally speaking??

I don't remember there being any alignment notches or pins. As long as the spring part is up you should be good to go. Just be sure you don't get part of the rubber of the diaphram pinched between the housing and the cover.

I am not sure I understand by the housing and the cover. I lined up the diaphram, by putting two screws through the AFPR housing, and then through the diaphram itself. I then laid that down on the fuel rail, and started the bolts.

By housing I meant the part of the fuel rail that the "lid or cover" attaches to. Its been a while since I installed mine. I seem to recall there were screw holes in the diaphram. The cover as I called it is actually the AFPR. So yes the diaphram would have to be pinched between the two. Sorry for the confusion.
