When I bought my 68 427 400hp, the previous owner had a cast iron intake and a dbl pump holley. Could someone tell me what they originally came off of.
Intake #3955287
Holley #list6210-3
0528
I checked my black book with no luck.

Thanks,
Jim

The intake manifold was used on 1970 and 1971 454 engines except LS7 (1970) or LS6 (1971).

The carburetor is a bit harder, for my book talks about Chevrolet part numbered carbs. Although, some of the id numbers for the carbs do resemble list numbers (i.e. 6239-1 (and -1A), 4801/02/03, 4555, 4559, etc).

I did a Google search- 6210 is listed as a spreadbore with 650 CFM airflow. That will make your 427 great at low RPM but it'll die from lack of air about 5000-5500. Nothing wrong with that at all, and that carb is a great Q-Jet replacement if you need one.
