Intake and hood clearance

Just installed an Edelbrock #2101 intake on my 76 C3. With the stock Q jet and air cleaner I had sufficient hood clearance. About a 1/2 in on the front edge.

It looks like your distributior is one tooth off, 1 and 8 towers should be even
Is that an aftermarket PCV valve? The wrong one will affect your idle quality
Are you running your vacuum advance ported or Manifold?

Nice looking engine. I wish I could keep mine that clean but living in the mountains with one mile of a dirt road leading in and out it's impossible to keep mine clean.
