Misinformation

Nothing personal but if they are going to have a web site they should get all thier facts right.....Our web site the "tech center" has better information and accurate.. just my two cents

The information for my year was pretty accurate. Thanks for the site Moon.

Interesting. I like the prices of the older ones.

This amazes me: 10594 split-windows made-- I must have seen 10593 of them at recent Corvette shows.

1963 Corvette Sting Ray
Coupe Price: $4252
Convertible Price: $4037
Units Produced:
21513 (10594 coupe) (10919 conv)

What? The red one I restored and sold for about that number is not on the show circuit? :L :w

Hey...great site. To think..my 87 is what 17-18 yrs old. Cost 28k new....today I could sell her for about 12-13k..not bad depreciation!!!...especially seeing I just got a 2004 Chevy Impala from a family member who passed away...was $ 22k new, has only 9k mi on it and is only worth like $15k...go figure!!!

Vette are much more in today's dollars as well:

What cost $4252 in 1963 would cost $25971.31 in 2005
What cost $4037 in 1963 would cost $24658.09 in 2005

It's not as quite as good as it sounds:

What cost $28000 in 1987 would cost $47069.50 in 2005

Interesting link but not that accurate. I only looked at a few C4 items, and one error was 300HP in '91. I bet L98 owners would like to know how they did that at the factory.

Thanks for the link though. It's still interesting.
