interior / exterior color combination ???

I have been told that the black exterior / doeskin interior combination was not an original OEM option for 1979. Does anyone know how such a claim can be validated?

In 79 the recommend interior colors for a black exterior were; black, dark blue, dark green, oyster, and red.

The "Corvette Black Book" does not list a doeskin for 79. Could this be the oyster (interior code 12 Cloth or 122 leather)?

These are recommended colors. Dealers could special order other combos.

Thanks for refering me to the Corvette Black Book.

What I am calling "doeskin" is actually "Light beige" - which I see in the Black Book listed as one of the interior color options for a black exterior for 1979.
