In my book and on the cover of my inside fuse box there is a fuse no. 52 (maxi fuse breaker) for my headlights. Where is this fuse? It is listed but it doesn't show on the diagram.

Both of my headlight motors and my interior gauge lights quit working. My lights work. My lights are stuck in the up position. Will fuse number 52 fix this?

I would appreciate any help...........

Left in the dark,

Mike

What does this fuse do?

Found fuse #52. What is the difference between a 20 amp fuse and a 20 amp curcuit breaker?

My headlights and interior lights quit working. Could fuse 52 repair this or should I be looking elsewhere?

HHHEEEELLLPPPP.....

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

A fuse will blow out when the circuit is overloaded, whereas a Breaker will reset itself when it cools back down after tripping. I'm sorry I don't know enough about the '97 circuit diagrams to help, but I should since I have a '98.

This is the only other reference to fuse 52 that I could find. Sounds like the same problem.

Thanks wishuwerehere82 for the reply!!!

I couldn't find any blown fuses. The headlight #52 is a circuit breaker. I will take it to an auto store tomorrow and have it tested. I hope this is all it is.

Thanks,
Mike
