The lights are on again. They won't shut off.
Last time this happened I was able to shut them off by cycling the circuit through the CCM.That trick isn't working this time.

I'll have to perform the full diagnostic this time I suppose.I really don't like removing the seats, console, trim plates ,and such to get to the CCM,but whacha gonna do?I need room to work!

Check this

I had a similar problem and it was related to the switches mounted on each door. Mine got weird when it rained. Could be a short or a bad switch.

I had the same problem with my '92. I found that removing the driver's side key from the door without being in the upright position (slightly off) would cause the interior lights to stay on. Check it out, hope it helps.

Door switches are good. The CCM diagnostic has cofirmed that as well as the door ajar light. The door ajar light goes out when it's supposed to.

The key switch?
Funny you mention that.

I have a factory service manual for my 90 and the page that has the tests for the keyed door lock is unintentionally blank.

I will try the position of the key lock.Thanks.

(Still trying to avoid pulling out the console and trim plates for CCM access.Read LAZY)

Lazy-I removed the interior light bulbs for now.The spare tire light looks kinda cool as it follows me down the road.:Steer

Have you checked the dimmer switch for interior lights located on the headlight switch???Ambient light sensor??:confused :crazy

MOOOOOOOSE!!!!!

You're the man.It was the drivers door key switch.:J

I began to use the key for the drivers side door not long ago and that's when this started.Keyless entry fob had broken where the keyring secures it so it can't stay on a keyring anymore. It still works but theres no way to keep it on a keyring:cry

Thanks Moose!:w
