I don't know if '94 used different bulbs, but for my '87 it lists:
  • CARGO LAMP: Lamp/Bulb #906, two required
  • DOOR: Lamp/Bulb #212-2, two required
  • FLOOR: Lamp/Bulb #563, two required
  • REAR (convertible): Lamp/Bulb #561, one required

The lenses on your door lights should be hinged on one side, front or rear I forget, for you to change bulbs. The floors, if they're like mine, will simply pop out of the hush panel and you can replace the bulb from the rear of the lense.

Hope it helps you.

I still can't get to my door bulb I may be chicken or something but I don't see where I can pry off the lens??? Ken you have been a great help to me and I respect you very much but I still don't get it about the door light bulb lens on my 89 vert. I just see me buggering it up and never getting it off...I'm now thinking about pulling the door panel off and that looks like 2-3 hours to change a light bulb.

On my 90 I just pry down on the top of the door panel light cover. It is meant to be snug and not come out from the vibration but be accessable for the bulb change. I don't know if yours is the same......Hope this helps.

To remove the bulb on a 1990 or later model , use a small flat blade screwdriver at the top of the lens, pry down and out until the tabs on the lens are clear of the housing. Rotate the lens away from the door trim panel and remove the bulb from its socket. Taken from a 84-96 Haynes manual. Paul

To remove the bulb on a 1990 or later model...but I have an 89 and I'm sure if I force it it'll break...I'll keep looking for a fix to this

Found this in the Haynes manual. Relates to Interior courtesy lights.

The interior courtesy lights are located in the remote control plates of each door. To remove either bulb on a 84 thru 89 model, remove the armrest & the remote control plate from the door trim panel.
Pop out the interior courtesy light housing from the remote control plate.
Pry loose the front end of the lense from the housing with a small screwdriver. Remove the bulb. Does this help. I'm not familiar with your year??????

Thanks I think you've done it for me...I'll try to pry the Vette from my wife long enough to fix it :-)
