hi, i want to install a shifter plate on the console do the knobs on the vent controls pulloff? also where should i buy seat backs for my 72? was thinking of riks? thanks for the help

The knobs have tiny allen head setscrews on them. Look closely and you'll see them. Most all Corvette parts vendors would carry seatbacks, just a matter of price and preference.
