First of all welcome aboard we're glad you've joined us :happyanim: On the 62, did you check the coil, wires, points, condensor, assume you have but let me just take it off your hands and I'll tell you what it took to get it started :L

You surely checked the timing, #1 cylinder @ top dead center and etc. 2-4-6-8 and 1-3-5-7, does it pop, or make any noise when you crank it?

possibly timing chain problem, checking this weekend

This was my fear and about the only thing left to check;shrug Not really that bad of a job, main thing is getting to it is where usually all the work is.

Good luck :beer

Welcome to the group. I'll be watching to see what the problem is with the '62. It would seem that if you are getting good spark, fuel and air, the next thing to check would be timing. Good luck.

Is it running yet? Wondering if it was the timing chain, etc.
