Is the LS1 2001 and newer intake manifold same as Z06's?

hello,
yes there the same,cooling water lines are different.slp has the whole kit for $400.i almost got that kit,then i realized a good torque convertor is a few hundred more,but will knock off half a second in the 1/4,the intake alone would probably knock off nothing.so i took off my throttle body,ported and polished it like a mirror,along with porting i filled the PCV tunnel will liquid steel and drilled a quarter inch hole threw it.the convertor will be on the way soon.i also took off my stock manifold and painted it red.good luck.lets here how it turns out when your done,

No, Zo6 intake flows much more air.

Anyway - the 01 to 04 LS1 has the SAME manifold as the LS6 engine in the Z-06. Its good for 5 more hp and 25 foot pounds of torque on the LS1.

Intake Manifold

Hi guys, I recently installed a new FAST intake manifold on my 2001, and I also have the Vararam air intake. There is quite a difference in performance than when it was stock. I wish I had a time difference for you, but I never got it to a track to time it. I plan on doing it this coming summer. All I did was remove the stock one and installed the new one, no polishing or porting of any kind. The only problem I had was the PVC line had to be rerouted, it was in the way of the new manifold next to the fire wall.
