Is it time for a new headlight motor?

The right headlight is going up slower than the left one. I messed around with it tonight and just pushed it a little and the light almost went back into the hood.

Is the motor the problem here?

I think there are three nylon bushings in each of your motors that are going bad. MidAm and Ecklers have a kit, I think it is around 15.00 that replaces the bushings in each.

Order the bushing's FIRST

set aside 3 hours and rebuild the one side.

Last year, it took me about one hour for each headlight.

That sounds more like it. Did you notice an improvement?

Since I'm taking it apart, should I change the bulb too? Can I change the bulb or do I have to change the whole unit?

$15 is cheap for the potential benefits, I'm going to go that route.

It took me 4 hours to replace the master cylinder and brake booster so I figure I'd better take a whole Saturday off for this one...
