Is there A difference in performance or sound?

I will soon be putting on muffler eliminator's,but can not decide between the LT1 tips or dual tips.Do either of these make a difference other than cosmetics?

I am doing the same. There are some that say round tips will give you a better sound.
But I want the stock look, with the rectangle tips.

I was also told to weld them on, & not use the clamps.

I went to my local muffler shop and asked for suggestions to improve the sound of my stock '93. They suggested to first cut off the mufflers and listen - with the cats and resonater, the sound my be okay. We cut off the mufflers and fired it up and the sound was great. At that point we welded in new pipe where the mufflers were and then welded the original tips on. $50 well spent.

Thats whai expect to do. $50.00 sounds very worth the effort.
