I just thought I'd say, it was a beautiful day in SW Kansas today. The wife suggested that we take the Corvette over to the "City". It didn't take me long to get her car backed out, the lift down and the Corvette out.

I haven't had it out since about Thanksgiving, so this was quite a treat....I think spring is just around the corner.

We're all see'in hope .This is one of the first times in years that I have stored my car in Maine rather than Florida and I'm getting itchy .I use to mark the days till April 1st as coming out day .

Glad you had an early break Tom :thumb

I don't know how y'all stand it... not only did I drive mine yesterday... but I put the top down too.

I need to invest in some property here, say, 15 to 20 miles inland from the Coast, and then sell lots and homes to my retired Corvette brothers and sisters. Mississippi doesn't tax retirement income and property taxes are reasonable - well, as reasonable as property taxes can be - at least in Harrison County and Stone County to the north.

Think of it, we could have Corvette cruises, block parties and car shows year round! :happyanim:

Hope y'all get an early Spring!

For those of us that can't move I'd like to have some Corvettes stored with me in Florida .I have a self storage right near the Orlando airport.$110 a month .Orlando is very cheap to fly into for long weekends and vacations during the winter.I won't do this again next year.

I plowed the driveway and church parking lot today. Spring may be just around the corner, but that corner is elusive.

Rosie and you should drive to Co. Springs on Mar 13 and attend the RMCSC annual breakfast. Would be a great day for a drive, unless Spring is still around that elusive corner.

I hate to be the killjoy of the group, but here in Monument, CO we are still having snow (even though it was in the 60's last week), there is magchloride and stone all over the roads. My bad boy won't come out from under its cover until late April, early May and I must say whenever I am out in the garage (which is every day) it is becoming more and more difficult. So, enjoy your rides if you can...I sit and wait.:W

Yeah it sucks here in Mighigan too. Haven't seen my vette in months. Oneday when I retire and move south It'll be nice to drive year round!
