How about...
the weather is chilly (47), gray, drippy and raw. (We were promised 60 and partly cloudy... HAH!) I love the way they update the "forecast" for the day AFTER the weather changes and proves them wrong ;)
Maybe everone is hibernating until spring gets here. That's what I want to do! This is definitely napping weather :)

I've been busy working on the '67 all day. Still have about 20 inches of snow that's 10 days old and the fog is so thick you can't see two feet in front of you. How's that? :L

I was finally getting some things done on my '81 during the last week. Today, though, it was 41 degrees out, so I fired up the '66 and backed it out and let it run awhile. First time since October that I have listened to that sweet sidepipe music! I can't wait 'till spring! :Steer

i am writing an english paper today... i dunno what you guys are doing... hehe ;)

and oh yeah - it has not stopped snowing since this past monday...

Today the temp. is supposed to be near 40. Maybe it'll melt all this snow....... but their allready calling for more this week and to make things worse I'm gettin sick!:(

Mrs. Mac dragged me out to check out a "new" self defence studio which offers boxing, kickboxing and jujistsu rather than karate. It was interesting but I'm not convinced it's the way I want to go just yet. We'll see.

My wife has been watching these home improvement shows, you know trading spaces and the such. So today I am building window valances on a budget as she calls them. My manly corvette tools are being womanized and my free time is being vandalized. Please if there is a god, let there be summer so that I can escape in the vette in these times of distress.:BOW that smiley is me praying for spring.
GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just spent the day helping a fellow corvette buddy move into his new house, just plain worn out, need a brew......:drink

But, I did paint my 66 yesterday!!

Near record snows here, I think we only need another inch to have the snowiest winter ever
Spring can't get here to soon for me.
Man do I want to put the top down and get some rays!!!
:cool

I've been working on the 69 all day, doing some "super detailing". I've been on a correct "bolt head" kick, and have been replacing/changing bolts. Mrs. Chuck has been working on a "Power Point" deal for work all day yesterday Friday...and all day today.

Snow is melting. Still about 15 inches in my yard...around the house, etc. Haven't seen my lawn since Christmas. Roads are crappy...salty and WET. No Corvette driving for me.

Tomorrow??? NASCAR race from Las Vegas.....maybe some shopping with Mrs. C?? Lazy weekend. Chuck

Blew a hose in the Bronco

( No I didn't buy it a drink!)

So I pull into work.. and check in with security and steam starts under the hood.... I pull over to the side .. and the top heater core hose ( manifold side tore a nice little rip.. just enough to spray PERFECTLY on the exhaust manifold......

PPPPSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTT

SO I continued into the lot.. made a 10 minute repair.. and topped it off... as I was double checking my patch around.. the TOP hose has split the outer jacket.

I drove it home that way.. no problem..

Just finished a 2 hr.. change ALL the hoses marathon.

Still no bites on my boat... WAHHHHHH!

Nice car Paul, but it's waaaay too clean!! :L I'm still down in the trenches with a respirator and 180 grit. :bang

It's just the Winter doldrums. Cabin fever predominates. Don't despair, Spring is on the way. Even down in Georgia the peach trees are getting ready to bud and the roads will dry out. As for the rest of us I don't know when we'll be able to drive again, but I am sure it will be sometime this year!

Smell.... that smell...

I LOVE the smell of bondo in the morning....

... Smell's like... cruising time!

OH MY GOD!

No wonder you have been doing SO many Honey-Do's

:eek

Go get em!

Vig!

I think it's the "winter doldrums" too. Weather has been CRAPPY here for literally 2 months.....since Christmas. We've gotten about 58 inches of snow in Baltimore...close to the all time record of 62, which I'm sure we'll break. One positive note.....at least our drought is officially over. I can "legally" wash my car come Springtime. :)

The economy stinks. Why? The war in Iraq, the stock market, your/my IRA's, business layoff's, closings, downsizings, etc. People just aren't going out. Retail businesses are really feeling the heat. My business? Just coming off the worst February in decades. Chuck

The first signs are when the crocuses and pus$y willows bloom. When the daffodils bloom- that's when you know the weather has just about turned the corner. I took these last week in my backyard:
