Jacking a 2001 Convertible

What are my options for jacking our 01 convertible for basic oil changes and maintenance?? I see a couple of different items in catalogs, is one better than the other or is there even a better low cost solution?

Thanks
Mike

I built a couple of ramps I drive the front tires onto, then slide the floor jack under and then up onto Jack stands with the little pads made here --->http://97vette.com/howto/liftpads/index.html .

Get used to it. This car is easy to work on, just get used to getting it up on the jack stands and taking the wheels off.

If you really want to keep the wheels clean, this is the only way to get to the inside.

A couple of weeks ago I replaced the whole H-Pipe cat system using the pads and some jackstands about 1 notch (1") up.
Plenty of room. Did the fuel filter when I was up in there...(Hint: It's a good timefor that too),

I opted to purchase the aluminum jack pads from West Coast Corvettes. Keep in mind that there is just barely enough room to slide the floor jack under with the 1" thick pads. I can tell you that with the double thick puck it will be much more difficult to get the jack under the side of your car....
