Seat Swap
Does anyone know for sure if C5 Sport Seats will fit into a C3 Coupe? I've got a busted seat frame and can no longer adjust the angle of the back to the seat so I'm always leaning back. I sat in a C5 and the seat is much more comfortably that mine ever were. I love my '78 Coupe but would like to make it more comfortable.
Has anyone made the switch?

A. Swap the seats. Driver's and passenger's are the same.
B. Check with the aftermarket providers. They offer a fix kit for the 70-77 seat backs.

Hi jbassat and welcome to cac. You can swap C-4 or C-5 seats into your car but you can order a seat bottom repair plate from many of the after market parts houses. www.riksvet.com offers the repair plate # set285 and new top adjustment bolts # set166 and bottom bolts # set167. You can do like 6880 Mike says and just switch seats untill you decide what you want to do. PG
