It's been some time since my last post and it's good to be back.

For those of you that remember me, Xena's getting a makeover. She's been under the care of a guy in out Vette Club who specializes in vette resoration. She's now getting a VB&P high performance suspension pkg, Edelbrock Performer intake, new tires and a new paint job. Will be putting on a BB hood I've had in the shop for sometime. Had thought about keeping the paint original, but decided to go with Black Saphire. Last week, they had all the paint stripped and were doing some minor body work. I've been taking some pictures along the way, will try to post them if I can figure out how to do it.

Hi Bill: Sounds like I'm doing just about the same thing as you are to my '72 coupe. Only I'm gonna keep mine the original color of "Sunflower Yellow". Right now it's bare glass & I'm in the process of "blocking" out the whole car & filling in the seams on the underside of the LT-1 hood (same as a 454 BB hood), the inside of the doors & the foirewall. Hope to get it done soon, as I'm "itchin" to get it back on the road. Black Saphire is a nice color!
Keep her clean & she'll look like a million! :_rock

Hey Bill,
I just finished the underneath of my 71. Spent about a year and a bunch of $$$ replacing everything from front to rear. Went through everything but the engine. Good to have it back on the ground off the jack stands. I have a new interior for it in boxes. Paint, body and motor work at some point. Need to give the wallet a little rest I'm afraid. Maybe drive it a bit and let the suspension settle and get it aligned. Been some project so far.
