We saw a 2003 Millennium Yellow at Bloomington Gold last week with 5300 miles. Couldn't make the right deal. Found one at our local Chevy dealer with 3200 miles and $3000 less yesterday. Needless to say we are proud owners. I am totally amazed at the power of this vehicle. We also saw a 2005 at the show. I cannot imagine 500 Horsepower. This one is totally incredible. Hope to learn alot. We traded in our 94 Torch Red. One of the salesmen bought ours this morning. It had 99,645 miles.

Donna

P.S. Am really excited about shifting again!

Sounds like a great upgrade. Now that you have made the switch from C4 to C5... which one do you like the feel of better? I know there are many differences.... rather... what is your favorite part about the new Z?

First of all the six speed. The ride is incredible. There are so many aspects to this car. The handling, the power, the look and most of all we now have a vehicle that is totally unique. We have had a 1967 Rally Red Convt., 1972 Ontario Orange T-Top which both were stick. The 1994 was automatic and we purchased it with 73,000 miles on it. It was great and fun but there is nothing like a new Corvette. We consider ours new because of only having 3200 miles. I am always amazed how someone can own one and never drive it. If we were still living in Florida I would be driving almost everyday except for rain days. It kills me in the winter.

Which was every day this past month of June!

Congrats Blueduce!
The Z is an incredible machine.
Enjoy!

Donna,

Congratulations. It is a fine machine and shifting it is one of the best parts.

As for the C6 Z06: I've been for a ride in one, and all I can say is

Lord Have Mercy.

That extra 100 horses is unreal. My 02 Z is now looking forward to having a younger brother in about 5 years :D

Congrats on your Z!!:beer You're in the "Big League" now! So, what's the first mod? I love helping other people spend their money...:D Makes me feel better about my "Investments."

We need a smiley face for JEALOUSY!!! Congrats on a fine car. My buddy has your twin and it is awesome.

Randy

Regarding our first Mod, right now I'm concentrating on making BIG car payments. We've only had it only a week today so right now just enjoying. I finally convinced my husband to get a new plate. The plate on it now is "RED DUCE". It looks totally ridiculous. Sooo because I work at a dealership that is tied to the Secretary of State office, I inquired and hopefully get either "YELO Z06" or "YELO ZO6". Was totally suprised that they were not taken. If I have to have and Oh instead of a zero so be it.

Donna
:w

P.S. Just because I'm a C5 owner, (former C2, C3, & C4) that will wave even though there are some out there that don't.

"DUCE" in Italien is "Duke", but to be accurate it should be "IL DUCE ROSSO"... IE, THE RED DUKE...

I should know, my favorite Beach Boys song is "LITTLE DOUCHE COUPE, YOU KNOW WHAT I GOT..." =;-]

Congrats on your new ride, Donna! I loved my C4 & C3's but the C5 is just a pleasure to drive.

I did (At least some of the photos and the animations). Those are the best cupholders I have ever used.

I was going to mention the douche coupe slip too :L :L

Hello MsSchroder,
Wow, your pretty good at that. I can't tell if Robert was being serious or not. I know alot of guys that like to make up their own version of songs to be funny.
:)

Let's not forget 'BOMB IRAN', sung to the tune of 'BARBARA ANN'...
