Wonder how many owners will dump their C6 with 400hp for the Z06 with 500 hp? May be some reasonable offers out there.

so glad my MSRP C-6 went back!
Yup. Just check e-bay motors or AutoTrader.com. I toyed with specualting on the C-6, but cash concerns and price trends held me back. I did buy a blk/blk Z51, stick for myself, and to keep, but it went back in a unique (God-send) deal.
There is a thread here that mentioned MSRP-$5k.
Y'all didn't expect the prices to go UP, did you?
With the economy, I mean the REAL numbers, continuing to be sluggish; concerns for GOOD jobs, etc., I think this is just the beginning. Rich folks still have cash, as always, but few of them buy Corvettes. While the C-6 is a world class car, it takes a long time or the ship of perception to turn around, with the core of Vette sales goes to well-paid working people. It seems that these are the exact jobs that are disappearing now.

Well it's not like there will be no people wanting to buy those slighty used C6's. One of the best things is to buy a car that is only a year old that is practically brand new. Depreciation goes down the most the first year anyway. If you really think about it, it goes down the minute your drive your new Vette off the lot :L.
