I just got home with my first Vette a 2001 coupe Navy over oak 6 spd with Borlas exhaust and most of the factory options! The car is amazing and is beyond my expectations! As soon as I figure out how to post pic's(a little help please?) I'll post some nice pics of her. My wife bought me the car as a birthday present.............................:D

Wow !!! some birthday present you got there ... great wife you have. Careful with that vette ... it is addictive and puts a permanent grin on your face if you don't watch it ... :L

Anyways ... welcome to CAC ... golf master!!! Enjoy the forums and congrats on your new vette ... yes we want pics ... plenty of pics please!!!

Don't forget to wave and have fun. :w

Dan.

Congratulations... Sounds like an awesome machine. I love the many "moods" of the Navy Blue Metallic color. Now you have to hit the Mid America web site and buy lots of goodies for it. Enjoy!

green18, welcome to the CAC. What a great wife!

For photos, there are several ways to do it. The easiest is to upload them right into this thread. You just click reply, and then below the window where you type your reply, scroll down until you see a section for attaching files. There will be a button called "Manage Attachments". Click that, and you'll be able to upload the file from your hard drive to this thread. Make sure it is 83k or less in size.

If you need help resizing, just holler.

Tammy

Green18, Congratulations and happy belated birthday! (Hang onto that wife! :L )

Welcome to the world of the C5 perma-grin! I think the more time you spend with it, the bigger the grin will get. Just make sure you remain aware of enough of your surroundings when driving to wave at fellow Corvetters!

Now, not to overload you with information on posting pics, but we actually have a very useful THREAD in the Site Help and Feedback Forum on how to upload pics. In particular, if you need help in resizing, Tammy has a link in Post #2 of that thread to a handy little photo-image program that works great.

Let us know if you need any help.

Congrats on your first Corvette and welcome to the :CAC

Lots of good people here and lots of great info. Post pics soon - we love pics.

As Patrick stated, get used to the grin... it's a permanent condition brought on by Corvette ownership.

And here's a Corvette wave from Mississippi! :w

Welcome to the CAC and the Corvette Hobby!!!

Welcome and congrads on the new addition to the family.
Those of us who have been down this road refer to the new addition as a "starter kit", you'll see why as time goes by.:D:w

Wow! Hang on to her for sure and follow Dawn's advice! Welcome to CAC and enjoy the rides and the adventures!

Tom
