Just picked up a brand new 08 coupe

right here in Honolulu. Same colors as my 05, black over black. The steering is very different from the 05, it's much more precise. The car came with F55, and it rides more smoothly in tour mode around town than the base suspension in my 05. Dual roof panels, 3LT. The stereo sounds a little better. This was my first experience with Onstar, the dealer asked me if I wanted to set it up on the lot I should have said "no" because the onstar customer service woman yapped away at me for half an hour and wouldn't hang up. But overall the car is an improvement over the 05, in little ways. I can't say enough about the dealer, it was a very positive experience, I was in and out in about an hour. They gave me the employee pricing, which I was happy to pay, the car was worth it.

Congrats Ugolino! I love black but I decided last month to try a different color. Wow I'd love to drive around Hawaii in a vette. I have circled the island several times in a rental and a vette would be awsome!

How about taking a drive around the island and posting some pics of the car at different locations? Let the rest of us see paradise.

I was visiting your islands in January whie on a cruise. Like Bonnell, I'm envious that you get to go around Oahu in a Vette. Although, if I had my choice of the islands, I'd have to say Maui would be a definate candidate for my favorite island to take a spin around in a Corvette.

Congrats on your new car, I picked up my new 08 last Friday it is a sweeeet car. I also got the employee priceing and it was a good deal. Mine is Red on Tan there is a pic on the thread "New Car" in the C3 General discussion.

I also picked up my own 08 about a week and half ago.
The employee pricing is a pretty good thing.
