I saw this and thought it may be of interest here -


There were two ZR-1s next to that; the purple one, I have no idea if there was any significance to it at all. Maybe an early developmental unit? Regardless, the black one next to it is an Active Suspension prototype, most likely a Lotus system. It's got some neat brake cooling ducts under the front chin spoiler, and side-slants just behind the front wheelwells. Switchgear is modified somewhat, and has an odd VU meter for testing purposes.

Very interesting....do you have any idea what the speedster is to the left of the black car? I assume it is some version of a C5 but I didn't recognize the profile of the front light housing or the side mirror.

It looks like the "California Corvette". I believe that was the name of it. It had that cool dark cherry metallic like paint.

Tom Peter's Calif Corvette and an Active Z. My guess an old photo.
